Sitex Group has promoted a senior associate to vice president, allowing him to take on a larger role in both development and acquisitions for the Englewood-based firm.
The industrial developer and investor announced that Evan Kleppe had earned his second promotion less than three years after being hired. As vice president, he will continue to play a significant role across the Sitex platform, with activities including analysis, dispositions, financings and investor relations.
“Evan is a dedicated professional whose work consistently exceeds expectations,” said Brian Milberg, principal with Sitex. “This promotion is recognition of the tremendous contributions he has made to the company.”
Kleppe has been involved in more than $500 million worth of acquisition, disposition and financing transactions since he joined Sitex as an associate in late 2015, the firm said. His new position calls for an increased role in development projects and growing Sitex’s portfolio through acquisitions.
According to a news release, Kleppe began his career as a production analyst with CBRE’s debt and equity finance group in New Jersey. He holds a bachelor’s in finance and a degree in real estate from Lehigh University’s College of Business and Economics.
He is also a member of NAIOP and is actively involved in the Children of Fallen Patriots organization, the news release said.
