Technology giant Oracle is relocating to SJP Properties’ five-building, 1.2 million-square-foot office campus in Bridgewater, where it’s leasing 17,000 square feet for a local field office.
SJP announced Wednesday that Oracle, an enterprise IT and cloud services provider, will occupy building 100 within the Somerset Corporate Center campus. The new third-floor office will house the company’s local executive team starting in the first quarter, SJP said, with a team that will provide sales, consulting, education and support to regional customers.
James Scancarella of Cresa represented Oracle, while SJP Executive Vice President Peter Bronsnick and Development Analyst Laura Paridy represented ownership. SJP’s third-party construction management division, SJP Project Solutions, is overseeing the office build-out.
Oracle will occupy its new space in the first quarter.
“We cultivated world-class amenity offerings at Somerset Corporate Center to create an ideal working environment for tenants on the cutting-edge of their fields,” said Peter Bronsnick, executive vice president of SJP Properties. “We look forward to welcoming Oracle’s software operations team into their custom office space and know that they will enjoy making full use of the lifestyle, fitness and dining options we’ve curated at the campus.”
Those options include additions such as a new Life Time Athletic complex and Life Time Work, the brand’s co-working concept. The campus has also welcomed a Zinburger Wine & Burger Bar and a 150-room AC Hotel by Marriott.
Located at routes 202/206 and 22, Somerset Corporate Center offers proximity to Newark Liberty International Airport and is directly across from the nearly 1 million-square-foot Bridgewater Commons Mall. Tenants at Somerset Corporate Center have quick access to interstates 287 and 78, along with nearby public transportation options such as the Somerville train station.
