Spencer Savings Bank has moved and expanded its branch in North Caldwell as part of a plan to better serve its customers in and around the borough.
The lender, which is based in Elmwood Park, said the new location at 810 Bloomfield Ave. was slated to open this month with an open, bright floorplan and technology such as a drive-up facility with an interactive teller kiosk that allows customers to self-serve or connect with bankers via video during from Monday through Saturday. There will also be an experienced team of banking professionals on hand to help with more complex transactions and financial needs.
The bank, meantime, is offering free use of its conference room to businesses and community organizations in the area.
“We are excited to be opening our doors in West Caldwell in July,” said Jose B. Guerrero, chairman and CEO of Spencer Savings Bank. “The new location will provide our customers in the Caldwell area with a larger and more accessible financial center, with a variety of increased benefits. This move reflects our commitment to enhancing the banking experience for our clients and supporting the continued growth of our local community.”
According to the bank, the branch is replacing a location at 9 Bloomfield Ave. in North Caldwell. It’s among more than two dozen full-service financial centers that Spencer operates across its seven-county footprint in New Jersey.
