A sports betting and trading firm has leased nearly 8,800 square feet of office space in Camden, under a newly announced transaction by Wolf Commercial Real Estate.
In a news release, the brokerage firm said it represented Sporttrade Inc. in the 8,781-square-foot commitment at 2 Aquarium Drive. It’s among the latest tenants at FTB Operations’ waterfront Ferry Terminal Building, having picked the location thanks in part to its proximity to Center City Philadelphia.
WCRE Vice President Bethany Brown completed the assignment. She noted that Sporttrade, which is based in Philadelphia, is offering the first legal sports betting exchange in the U.S., with a platform that allows customers to trade on sports outcomes by buying and selling contracts, as they would in the stock market.
The Ferry Terminal Building has direct access to Route 676 and the Benjamin Franklin Bridge and immediate public transportation options via PATCO and NJ Transit light rail and bus service.
