A staffing and executive search firm has leased space at a well-known office complex in Hackensack, under a newly announced transaction by NAI James E. Hanson.
Brokers with the firm represented the tenant, The Solomon Page Group, in the commitment at Continental Plaza with landlord JD CP Investors LLC. The new office at the three-building, 650,000-square-foot complex, located at 401-433 Hackensack Ave., will be among more than a dozen locations nationwide for the firm.
“Having a well-located, modern office in the northern New Jersey marketplace is a priority for the firm,” said NAI Hanson’s W. Joshua Levering, who completed the assignment alongside Nicholas DePaolera. “It will allow them to work more efficiently with their regional clients and expand their services in the local marketplace.”
The brokerage team touted Continental Plaza’s on-site amenities, including a U.S. post office, dry cleaners, conference facility and food service, along with its garage parking, location off Route 4 and proximity to major highways.
“Continental Plaza was acquired by JD CP Investors in 2016 and is currently in the midst of significant capital improvements including everything from the mechanicals to upgrades in the buildings’ common areas,” DePaolera said. “Additional on-site amenities of food and conference areas have totally repositioned the property to adhere with the needs of today’s tenants and employers.”
Levering added: “Despite some negativity surrounding the office sector in recent years, we continue to see strong leasing velocity for modern and well-located office properties like Continental Plaza. We know this trend will continue as modern and prestigious companies like SPG compete for an increasingly limited pool of well amenitized and ideally-suited spaces.
“Our competitive market has only made it more crucial to leverage the counsel of highly experienced and knowledgeable brokers in identifying high-quality buildings and properties that meet the need of our modern-day clients.”
