A home staging studio has found its new East Coast base of operations, inking a lease for nearly 14,000 square feet at a historic industrial complex in Jersey City.
Brokers with Grid Real Estate represented the tenant, Studio D, in its 13,600-square-foot commitment at 629 16th St. It’s among the newest tenants at the sprawling Lackawanna Center property, which provides quick access to the Holland Tunnel.
“It is closer to the city and positions us to not only stage luxury properties in New York City and Brooklyn, but also new developments in Jersey City and Hoboken, as well as single-family homes in New Jersey, New York and Connecticut,” said Gail Dunnett, Studio D’s founder and CEO.
Grid’s Dante A. Trigo and Greg D. Edgell completed the assignment for the San Francisco-based firm, a boutique bicoastal home staging and interior design business serving real estate agents, developers and homeowners. Scott Maynard of Weichert Commercial represented the landlord.
