Studio 1200 has promoted the head of its residential and mixed-use teams to principal, the Short Hills-based architecture and interior design firm announced.
The practice said Siro Prisco Tarquinio now joins its leadership ranks alongside Sandee Markwith and Nancy Dougherty. In announcing the move, they noted that his experience spans large- and small-scale single-family residential projects throughout the area, as well as mixed-use and multifamily buildings in multiple downtown communities.
“Prisco embodies the mission of Studio 1200: passion for design and dedication to outstanding client service,” Markwith said.
Currently, Tarquinio and his team are developing sites in Bernardsville, Flemington, Madison, Millburn and Summit, according to a news release. He has a client base that stretches from the Hamptons to the Jersey Shore.
“Prisco exemplifies the collaborative spirit and creative problem solving that drives Studio 1200,” Dougherty said. “We are enormously proud to have him join our leadership team.”
Tarquinio, who grew up in Italy surrounded by historic architecture, holds a master’s in architecture from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s in economics from Rutgers University.
