T-Mobile is adding a new location in Newark after leasing more than 2,200 square feet at a prominent corner in the downtown, brokers with The Goldstein Group said Monday.
According to a news release, the carrier will occupy the space at 787 Broad St. under a lease with 787 Broad LLC. The Goldstein Group Executive Vice President Lew Finkelstein and Vice President CJ Huter represented the tenant in the 2,225-square-foot commitment, while JLL’s Marta Villa represented ownership.
“The space T-Mobile chose is a highly visible location at the corner of Broad Street and Market Street,” said Chuck Lanyard, president of The Goldstein Group. “Downtown Newark has seen a tremendous amount of development over the past decade with the Prudential Center, Performing Arts Center, Whole Foods project and several other developments. T-Mobile wanted to be visible to the community.”
