Team Resources Inc. has completed a 10,050-square-foot industrial lease in Newark, one of two new transactions announced by the Lyndhurst-based firm.
The brokerage on Thursday detailed the commitment by Asante International LLC at 254 Elizabeth Ave. in the city. Jeff Volpi, vice president with Team Resources, and Eric Lewin Sr. executive vice president, represented both the landlord and tenant.
“The tenant’s previous building was sold and therefore a move was necessary,” Lewin said. “This building offered Asante the space they required while keeping them in their preferred location of Newark.”
In the second deal, Team Resources said Stealth Communication Services LLC leased about 1.05 acres at 125 Amity St. in Jersey City. Senior Vice President Lissa Roy represented both parties.
“We worked for less than a week to consummate this deal, since we first had to find and negotiate a suitable storage yard with a garage that provided easy access to New York City,” Roy said. “We were thrilled to solidify this deal in the heart of Jersey City, where lots are very hard to come by.”
