A tile company is expanding with the acquisition of an 82,000-square-foot industrial building in Willingboro, in a deal brokered by Sheldon Gross Realty Inc.
The West Orange-based brokerage announced Tuesday that it represented Merola Tile Group in its $2.44 million purchase of 49 Ironside Court. The property, which previously housed a third-party logistics provider, will become Merola’s third location and will be used to distribute Merola Tile, SomerTile and other branded products throughout the Northeast.
Executive Vice President Jonathan Glick handled the assignment for Sheldon Gross Realty, representing Merola Tile owner Kevin Merola.
“After an exhaustive search both in central and northern New Jersey, I located this exceptional value just north of the greater Philadelphia metro area,” Glick said. “The facility is ideally suited to tile storage and distribution. Its immediate proximity to major trucking corridors will provide Merola Tile easy access to the ports it uses for shipping.”
The Willingboro purchase represents Glick’s third transaction on behalf of Kevin Merola, owner of Merola Tile.
