Professional services firm T&M Associates has welcomed Carolyn Lange, an accomplished finance and operations executive, as its new chief financial officer.
In the new role, Lange will support the executive team leading the planning and management of the organization’s financial performance. The Middletown-based firm, which provides consulting, engineering, environmental and technical services nationally, noted that she brings more than 25 years of experience in finance, with a history of working with CEOs and board committees to develop and successfully execute strategies.
That includes leadership positions in private equity firms, startups, Goldman Sachs and other public companies, according to a news release. Lange also has experience in strategic planning and operations leadership, mergers and acquisitions, accounting and investment management and human resources and cross-department leadership.
“We are thrilled to announce Carolyn as our new CFO,” said Gary Dahms, T&M’s CEO and president. “Her proven track record and visionary leadership will be invaluable as we navigate exciting opportunities ahead.”
Lange earned her MBA in finance and entrepreneurial management from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Before that, she earned a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
T&M added that Lange enjoys sharing her knowledge of mergers and acquisitions as a guest lecturer at the Rutgers Business School as well as participating as a judge for the MBA Student Business Plan competition.
