A longtime property management executive has joined Transwestern as a senior vice president based in its Florham Park office.
In a news release Tuesday, the firm announced that it has hired Robert F. Vicci to grow its property management portfolio throughout the Northeast. In the new role, he will work with the asset services team to implement national initiatives, drive new business pursuits and ensure operational consistency across the region.
“Rob’s impressive track record and depth of industry experience will be key assets to our owner clients as we continue to expand our property management portfolio in the region,” said Rob Bridges, executive managing director of asset services at Transwestern. “His commitment to excellent service and collaboration make him a perfect fit with our corporate culture.”
Prior to joining Transwestern, Vicci was an asset manager at CenterPoint Properties, where he oversaw the operations of warehouse and flex properties exceeding 5 million square feet, the news release said. He has more than 30 years of commercial real estate experience, having worked for national firms including Keller Williams Realty Inc. and managed trophy properties such as the Empire State Building.
“Transwestern has established a stellar reputation in the Northeast, and I’m excited to have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most talented professionals in the industry,” Vicci said. “In this new role, I plan to leverage my experience to pinpoint new opportunities and expand the company’s already impressive portfolio of properties.”
Vicci, a decorated Army veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, received his commission from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point in 1981 as an infantry officer. He holds a bachelor’s in civil engineering and is also CEO of VetREST, an organization that helps veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder.
