A joint venture is eyeing a midsummer delivery for a new 180-unit luxury apartment complex in northern Passaic County.
The developers, Tulfra Real Estate and The Hampshire Cos., say leasing is now underway at what’s known as Molly Brook on Belmont in North Haledon. The team announced the milestone on Tuesday as construction continues at 920 Belmont Ave., with occupancy slated for Aug. 1.
“We set out to create a modern, contemporary lifestyle and raise the bar for suburban apartment living,” said Sonny Jumani, president of Rochelle-Park-based Tulfra Real Estate, who announced the launch of leasing about eight months after the joint venture broke ground.
Designed by Minno & Wasko Architects and Planners, the 20-acre development will include four buildings and a clubhouse. Plans call for a mix of one- and two-bedroom units with upscale design, finishes and appliances, with amenities such as a private kitchen and lounge, a resort-style swimming pool and a high-end fitness center.
Tulfra also cited the complex’s location along the Molly Brook, its namesake, near a property that housed Continental soldiers during the Revolutionary War. Additionally, the community has a walking trail and outdoor green space, with on-site bike storage, a dog park and grilling stations.
“This community has something to offer for everyone,” Jumani said. “Molly Brook is centrally located for commuters, has work-from-home conveniences and offers the perfect space for all lifestyles.”
Jumani touted the site’s proximity to routes 208 and 46, interstates 80 and 287 and a host of retail destinations. It’s also a few blocks from William Paterson University and minutes from several recreational offerings.
The Bozzuto Group is the property’s leasing and management company. Rents for one-bedroom units start at $2,184, while two-bedroom apartments start at $2,900.
