The U.S. Green Building Council of New Jersey is calling for nominees for its annual gala awards, which honor outstanding achievement in green building and sustainability.
The gala, slated for May 16, will take place at The Palace at Somerset Park in the Somerset section of Franklin and is expected to draw executives and professional from across the development and construction industry. The nomination deadline is Feb. 23, with the award categories including:
- LEED Project of the Year (may be drawn across multiple categories.)
- Innovation and Sustainability Best Practices (includes projects, corporate initiatives and programs, public/private sector and municipal programs. Includes initiatives, products or services and may cross multiple categories.)
- Students: Sustainability Projects K-12 and Higher Education (separate application process)
