Value Cos. has added a recently opened, 40-unit boutique rental building in Elizabeth to its growing asset management portfolio, the firm announced Monday.
In a news release, the Clifton-based company said it will oversee leasing, operations and marketing at 737 North Broad St., a five-story property near the NJ Transit station in downtown Elizabeth. A private real estate investor tapped the firm’s Value Asset Management division after its recent acquisition of the property, which was completed in 2017.
The assignment comes less than five months after the same owner hired VAM to manage a 100-unit rental property in Bridgewater.
“In this case, they turned to VAM for our experience and expertise managing operations for midsized and boutique apartments buildings in prominent urban locations,” said Jack Linefsky, vice president of property management for Value Cos. “We’re excited to add 737 North Broad Street to our portfolio.”
The building, which has a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartments, features stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and ceramic floors.
