Transwestern has added a 13-year industry veteran as the newest member of its leasing and sales team in New Jersey, the real estate services firm said this week.
The firm, which has an office in Parsippany, announced the hiring of Kevin Coleman as vice president. In the new role, Coleman will provide leasing and sales services on behalf of both owners and occupiers of office and industrial properties.
“As we continue to grow our presence in New Jersey, we’re dedicated to hiring bright talent that will thrive in our team-oriented, entrepreneurial environment,” James Postell, Transwestern partner and city leader, said in a prepared statement. “Kevin’s diverse background and reputation for outstanding client service make him an excellent addition to our team and an ideal fit for our company culture.”
Coleman most recently served as director at Colliers International, where he represented both local and national companies, according to a news release. Previously, he worked at the Princeton-based boutique services firm known as Commercial Property Network.
Along with his real estate and sales experience, he gained political insight by serving as an intern and then a field services officer with the New Jersey state Senate.
“Transwestern’s collaborative culture is one of the main factors behind my decision to join the team,” Coleman said. “The commitment to high-quality service delivery across the country allows the company to quickly and effectively anticipate the changing real estate landscape. I look forward to leveraging that national standard to provide best-in-class service to our clients.”
