Qualcomm has grown its footprint at a Bridgewater office building, developer SJP Properties said Wednesday, bringing the 1.2 million-square-foot Somerset Corporate Center campus to full occupancy.
In a news release, SJP said Qualcomm has expanded its lease by 30,882 square feet within Somerset Corporate Center V, bringing its total space to 156,294 square feet. The firm, which develops wireless technologies and mobile data solutions, has been a tenant at the complex since 2007 and renewed its lease last fall.

The deal follows other activity in recent years at Somerset Corporate Center, a master-planned, 1.2 million-square-foot campus at routes 202/206 and 22 in Bridgewater. The newest tenants at the five-building Class A property include Linde Americas, iconectiv, Mazda and Kering Eyewear.
SJP Properties is now planning a 130,000-square-foot Life Time fitness facility and a 150-room AC by Marriott hotel and restaurant within the center, according to a news release.
“When we set out to develop Somerset Corporate Center, we immediately recognized that the site’s unique location advantages — in one of the country’s strongest labor pools and in proximity to major thoroughfares and mass transit — would ideally position it to become a destination of choice for world-class companies,” Steven J. Pozycki, founder and CEO of SJP Properties, said in a prepared statement. “That original vision has been realized in achieving full occupancy with an incredible roster of companies whose advanced infrastructure and operational needs are being supported everyday by the superior environment we have created here.”
Somerset Corporate Center, which also offers quick access to interstates 287 and 78, is directly across from the Bridgewater Commons Mall.
