Longtime commercial real estate attorney Khoren Bandazian has joined Giordano, Halleran & Ciesla PC as a shareholder, the Red Bank-based firm announced Wednesday.
In a news release, the practice said Bandazian joins its team with nearly 30 years of experience and a focus on real estate development, redevelopment, acquisitions and financing, particularly on northern New Jersey’s Gold Coast in Bergen and Hudson counties. His work spans the commercial, office, retail and industrial sectors, with a strong emphasis on large-scale multifamily transactions.
Bandazian is based in Giordano Halleran’s new Saddle Brook office.
“Khoren has built a well-respected practice, and his extensive experience further strengthens our firm’s presence throughout the state,” said Paul Colella, the firm’s managing shareholder. “We are excited to welcome him to the team.”
Bandazian, who joined the Giordano firm on March 17, is a former partner at Rivkin Radler LLP in Hackensack. His new firm noted that he advises developers, investors and high-net-worth individuals, assisting with deal syndication, transaction financing, leasing and the disposition of distressed assets.
Additionally, he has extensive experience guiding clients through corporate formations, partnership structuring and corporate divorce, the news release said. While based in New Jersey, Bandazian has handled transactions in multiple jurisdictions on the East Coast.
According to the news release, Bandazian earned his J.D. from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University and his bachelor’s from Northeastern University. He serves as a board member for the Armenian Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Emerson and as an advisory board member for the planned development of a World Trade Center in Yerevan, Armenia, while he is a former chair of the Armenia Fund USA Inc., which focused on infrastructure development in Armenia.
