Walters has earned major bragging rights after winning 10 awards at the Shore Builders Association of Central New Jersey’s annual ceremony earlier this month.
The developer’s Cornerstone at Hainesport, a 73-unit income-restricted community in Burlington County, received several accolades at the May 7 event at South Gate Manor in Freehold. That includes the coveted Community of the Year, as well as Best Logo Design, Best Signage, Best Sales Office and Best Architectural Product Design, all part of SBACNJ’s prestigious FAME Awards.
In addition, Walters’ 70-unit Cornerstone at Lacey III project in Ocean County won in the Best On-Site Event category for its grand opening celebration.
“We’re thrilled to be recognized once again by Shore Builders and to take part in an event that highlights excellence in homebuilding,” said Walters’ Joe Del Duca, partner and director of affordable housing. “Our team is committed to creating award-winning communities with a strong commitment to sustainable construction. These achievements are made possible by the talent and dedication of our entire team, and we’re proud to celebrate alongside this year’s outstanding honorees.”
According to Walters, the awards recognized the outstanding achievements of its team and ita income-restricted communities. Individual team members honored included:
- Mike Beagan as Marketing Director of the Year
- Mara Stevens as Leasing Agent of the Year
- Danielle Adams as Property Manager of the Year
- Katherine Holguin in the Leasing Excellence Club
The FAME awards recognize building industry professionals for their successful sales and marketing accomplishments throughout the previous year, according to a news release. Located in Lakewood, SBACNJ is a chartered local chapter of the New Jersey Builders Association and the National Association of Home Builders and one of the largest local trade associations in the area.
