Wolf Commercial Real Estate has brokered the sale of a 28,000-square-foot educational complex in Burlington County, the firm announced.
In a news release, WCRE said it worked with Friends Academy of Westampton in its disposition of 315 Bridge St. in Westampton. The buyer was The Benjamin Banneker Preparatory Charter School.
The complex includes more than 28,000 square feet in four buildings on an 11-acre site, the news release said. The former school complex has a campus-like atmosphere with classrooms, offices, and full-sized basketball courts, in addition to conference space and a library.
The complex was initially constructed in 2004, with ample room for expansion. For WCRE, it was another opportunity to sell a community-oriented educational or recreational complex.
“WCRE stood out because of their extensive experience working with schools and a breadth of knowledge of the local real estate market,” David Jones, board member and clerk for Friends Academy of Westampton, said in a prepared statement. “WCRE also understood our values and showed sensitivity concerning our position and desires. We appreciated the opportunity to work with an organization whose values align so closely with ours and how dedicated and tenacious WCRE was to help us find the right buyer.”
WCRE’s team of Chris Henderson, vice president and Jason Wolf, managing principal, handled the assignment for the Marlton-based firm.
“WCRE was proud to partner with Friends Academy of Westampton as our latest institutional relationship in the Southern New Jersey region,” Henderson said in a separate prepared statement. “We were fortunate to have a partner that allowed us the opportunity to apply our WCRE 360 marketing approach to find the right institutional user for this highly desirable property.”
