Two accountants specializing in construction and commercial real estate are among nine senior managers who have been promoted to partner at WithumSmith+Brown PC, the firm announced.

The CPAs, Nina Chmura and Ray Bastin, join the firm’s growing corporate leadership team. The former is based in the firm’s New Brunswick office.
Chmura has more than 14 years of accounting and auditing experience with a focus on the real estate industry, Withum said in a news release. In addition, she serves clients in the not-for-profit and consumer products sectors and is involved in Withum’s internal training and development initiatives.

Chmura is a graduate of the American Institute of CPAs’ leadership academy and earned a degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting from Boston University, the news release said. She also sits on the board of directors for the New Jersey Chapter of CoreNet Global, a professional real estate association.
Bastin is an experienced auditor and business adviser to clients spanning several different industries, including the construction, not-for-profit, timeshare and government sectors, the news release said. He earned an accounting degree from the University of Central Florida and is a member of several business and philanthropic organizations, as well as the AICPA.
