Woodmont Properties has announced four new hires to support its ongoing growth and expansion across multiple asset classes throughout the region.
According to the Fairfield-based developer, the new additions include Kris Bauman as vice president of development and Timothy Behrens as controller. Also joining the firm are Joseph McFalls as director of investments and capital markets and Christine Migliorino as senior living operational support specialist.
“As a result of Woodmont’s investment growth in key markets, we’re thrilled to welcome four new members to our executive and operational teams,” Woodmont Properties CEO Eric Witmondt said. “At Woodmont we have always believed in attracting the best talent to fuel our growth strategy. Each of these individuals brings unparalleled knowledge within their areas of expertise — we look forward to their unique, valued contributions as our portfolio continues to grow.”
Bauman, a veteran development executive, comes to Woodmont with expertise in the acquisition and approval stages, having led planning and entitlement efforts for commercial, mixed-use and multifamily projects from Boston to Washington D.C. He previously was a vice president at Normandy Real Estate Partners and a senior vice president at The Gale Co., having received a bachelor’s from the University of Pennsylvania.
Behrens, meantime, joins Woodmont with more than 25 years of experience in accounting operations, including a 14-year tenure as controller at Roseland Residential Trust, according to a news release. He has also held positions such as controller at Arctrust, where he oversaw the accounting operations, and financial management roles for Vornado Realty Trust and AMB Property Corp.
Woodmont added that Behrens holds a master’s in finance from Suffolk University and a bachelor’s from Siena College. He is also a member of the Denville planning board.
As director of investments and capital markets, McFalls supports the real estate acquisition, disposition, development and financing initiatives across Woodmont’s real estate investment platform, the news release said. He previously served as real estate counsel for Toll Bros. and as a real estate associate at Blank Rome LLP, holding an MBA and master’s in real estate from Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management, along with a law degree from Villanova University’s Charles Widger School of Law.
For her part, Migliorino brings years of experience in developing and managing senior living programming, Woodmont said. As a senior living operational support specialist, she plays a key role in developing operational procedures and implementing new systems for the firm’s senior housing platform, having served as an activity director, dementia neighborhood director and dementia and activity trainer at Brightview Senior Living.
Migliorino is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and holds a bachelor’s from LIM College.
“It’s an exciting time for Woodmont Properties, as we continue to scale both our real estate portfolio and our team members,” said Lewis Zlotnick, president of Woodmont Properties. “With projects in our pipeline, it’s imperative that Woodmont continues to secure top-tier talent to accelerate this momentum. We’re extremely proud to have Kris, Timothy, Joseph and Christine join us as we approach both present and future milestones.”
