A snack maker has expanded its presence at a Piscataway industrial park, leasing another 13,000 square feet beyond its original 20,000-square-foot commitment.
Brokers with Zimmel Associates say the manufacturer, Clio, relocated last year to the Piscataway Corporate Center at 141-147 West Ethel Road. It now occupies both buildings at the complex after its most recent lease with landlord Denholtz Properties.
Zimmel Associates’ Jaime Zimmel represented the tenant, which makes Greek yogurt bars and was originally based in Union County, according to a news release. The brokerage firm said its client was drawn to the complex due to its high ceilings and potential expansion space.
David Zimmel, the firm’s CEO, also noted that Zimmel Associates brokered the original sale of the five-acre property to Denholtz in 1994. The developer subsequently constructed the two-building complex, with Zimmel serving as the leasing agent since its completion.
