A furniture and home décor chain has unveiled its first United States location with a newly opened store in North Brunswick, according to a leasing team with Levin Management Corp.
The business, Ziabee Home Furnishing, occupies 1,600 square feet at 869 Route 1 alongside tenants such as Michaels, Trader Joe’s and others. Its new showroom at North Village Shopping Center will serve residential, commercial and hospitality customers, following the chain’s 2019 debut with a flagship store in India, with LMC noting that the space features exclusive designer pieces made in Italy, Spain and Istanbul, Turkey.
“The unique design and quality of our pieces — along with significant options for customization and outstanding customer service — sets us apart,” said Vidya Sudhi, the company’s owner. “We also have a wide selection of statement pieces to elevate any décor. I am excited to be part of North Village Shopping Center and look forward to serving customers here.”
LMC serves as leasing and managing agent for the 124,000-square-foot shopping center, with Leasing Representative Ed Vasconcellos III arranging the deal with Ziabee on ownership’s behalf.
“North Village Shopping Center enjoys a prominent, accessible Route 1 address, making an ideal location for Ziabee Home Furnishing’s first regional showroom,” Vasconcellos said. “This new tenant certainly enhances and complements the property’s retail mix, and shoppers are sure to welcome such a distinctive concept.”
LMC added that North Village Shopping Center, part of a highly trafficked regional retail corridor, is also home to Staples, Ulta Beauty, Mattress Warehouse, Panera Bread, Chili’s, Smashburger, Wu’s Shanghai Dumpling House and Lux Nails. The complex draws 2.5 million visits per year, according to real-time traffic data from Placer.ai.
