A maker of medical diagnostic tests has acquired a 17,000-square-foot flex building in the Somerset section of Franklin, following a transaction brokered by Zimmel Associates.
The buyer, Premier Medical Corp., purchased the freestanding property at 27 Schoolhouse Road for $2.1 million, Zimmel said in a news release. Located just off Interstate 287, the building will serve its new owner’s business of developing and manufacturing medical diagnostic tests.
Zimmel Associates CEO David Zimmel represented the seller, Oritani Bank, which had foreclosed on the building. The Edison-based firm listed and sold the property within 45 days.
