A gas station operator in Branchburg has acquired an adjacent building as part of a plan to build a new 3,000-square-foot convenience store, in a deal arranged by Remco Realty Group.
The brokerage firm said it represented both parties in the $325,000 sale of the former Tara Electronics building at 985 Route 202 North. The buyer, a Delta Gasoline operator, intends to use its new store to support its gasoline retail business.
Remco Realty Group President Peter Gallicchio completed the assignment for the Somerset-based firm. He noted that the existing building sits on about 0.62 acres with more than 100 feet of highway frontage and pylon signage at the corner of Route 202 and Van Dyke Road.
The property is surrounded by retailers such as Wegman’s, Home Depot, Ruby Tuesday, Wawa, CVS and several other banks, restaurants and retailers.
