Larken Associates has completed a nearly 2,000-square-foot lease at a Hillsborough strip center, bringing the office and retail property to full occupancy.
The landlord announced Tuesday that Amwell Pharmacy is taking 1,963 square feet at The Shoppes at Woods Tavern, a 31,299-square-foot complex at 415 Amwell Road and 438 Route 206. The operator joins a host of regional and national operators at the property, which has 18 street-level retail units with build-to-suit office space on the second floor.
“While the current public health crisis has had a considerable impact on the retail sector, we are continuing to see that both established and new businesses are seeking well-located, high-visibility retail spaces that provide them with the competitive edge necessary to succeed in today’s business environment,” said Victor Kelly, executive vice president of Raider Realty, the in-house brokerage division of Larken Associates. “With a strong location offering direct highway access to the vibrant shopping center, The Shoppes at Woods Tavern continues to experience high levels of activity with the lease with Amwell Pharmacy bringing the property to full occupancy.”
Larken noted that it remains bullish on the town’s business corridor, citing its recently launched mixed-use project known as Hillsborough Village Center. Located at 650 Route 206, less than a mile from The Shoppes at Woods Tavern, the project boasts 191 units of luxury and affordable housing, as well as 28,000 square feet of dedicated ground-level retail space.
Other tenants at The Shoppes at Woods Tavern include Five Guys, Pizza Hut, Kumon, Shakes N Scoops and Bombay Wok.
