The owner of a 122,000-square-foot shopping center in Woodbridge has retained Bennett Realty & Development to sell the property, the Holmdel-based brokerage announced Tuesday.
According to a news release, Mocci Parkway Plaza, located on an eight-acre site at the intersection of Route 1 and the Garden State Parkway, is being listed for an undisclosed price. The retail destination in the township’s Iselin section is between Woodbridge Center and Menlo Park Mall.
The brokerage team added that the shopping center at 301 Route 1 is anchored by a Marshalls department store and the shoe chain DSW, with electronics business P.C. Richard & Son and home furnishing company HomeSense said to be opening there soon as well.
In addition, the property has approvals for a 133,000-square-foot self-storage development.
Bennett Realty & Development’s William Lenaz and Tyler Bennett are handling the sale. In their announcement, the firm reports there are more than 330,000 residents within a five-mile radius of the shopping center, with an average household income of more than $150,000.
Lenaz referred to the site as the “definition of a ‘trophy property.’”
“Given its location and co-tenancy, which include some of the most successful retailers in the country, this is a rare offering,” he said. “We are delighted to bring this to the market and run our process for our client.”
