A youth dance team operated by Rutgers University has leased nearly 6,700 square feet at a New Brunswick commercial building, in a newly announced deal by Sheldon Gross Realty.
Brokers with the firm represented ownership at 409 Joyce Kilmer Ave., where the school’s Junior Spirit Program will operate a training facility. The program will serve children ages 12 and under, the brokers said, noting that the space has a warehouse layout that’s well-suited for the team’s activities.
Sheldon Gross Realty Executive Vice President Jonathan Glick and Assistant Vice President Joshua Glussky completed the 6,668-square-foot deal alongside Kroll Realty, the tenant broker.
“If there’s such a thing as an ideal space for training cheerleaders, this may be it,” Glussky said. “It provides a large, open footprint, ample on-site parking just outside the front entrance, and is convenient to the entire Middlesex and Somerset counties area.”
