Avison Young has made a new addition to its debt and equity team in New Jersey, tapping a recent intern as an associate based in the firm’s Morristown office.
In the new role, Evan Bernard will look to develop business through identifying prospective clients, aiding in the analysis and underwriting process for placing debt and equity through various capital sources, according to a news release. In addition, he has been appointed to Avison Young’s Emerging Leaders program, an internal national mentoring platform that creates a collaborative environment for developing and supporting its young professionals.
“We are pleased to welcome Evan to team and equally pleased to support his future growth by naming him the latest member of Avison Young’s company-wide Emerging Leaders program,” said Jeffrey L. Heller, an Avison Young principal and managing director of the firm’s New Jersey offices. “As we continue our growth, Avison Young New Jersey is seeking exceptional young professionals that share our commitment to outstanding client service and industry leadership. Evan represents exactly we’re looking for in our young professionals and we look forward to his future accomplishments as a member of the Debt and Equity team.”
Bernard graduated last year from Pennsylvania State University, where he earned a bachelor’s in letters, arts and sciences. He was also an all-state lacrosse player for Chatham High School.
