Real estate services firm Avison Young has opened a new office in the Metropark section of Woodbridge, its second location in New Jersey since entering the market in 2012.
Jeffrey L. Heller, Avison Young’s principal and managing director in New Jersey, announced the opening of the office at 99 Wood Ave. South in Iselin. The newly built-out space gives the firm a location in central New Jersey, allowing it to grow and recruit beyond its main office in Morristown.
“We are thrilled to announce the opening of our new Metropark location at 99 Wood Avenue South, a clear demonstration of Avison Young’s commitment for growth in New Jersey and further validation that our collaborative platform and principal-led approach to client servicing is yielding the proper results,” Heller said in a prepared statement. “In addition, this new office will provide an exciting and rewarding work environment for our professionals that will continue to strengthen our ability to recruit top talent throughout the state.”
The opening of the Woodbridge office also coincides with Avison Young’s recent addition of seven brokers from the firm formerly known as Cresa NJ-North/Central LLC. The integration has helped Avison Young expand its reach in corporate tenant representation in industries such as pharmaceutical, biotech and technology.
Heller expects to see additional expansion from the Avison Young New Jersey office.
“Avison Young opened its first New Jersey location five years ago as part of the organization’s ongoing strategy to establish a strong presence in key markets throughout the country,” he said. “Since then, our office has rapidly expanded and established itself as a market leader in this region’s competitive commercial real estate services arena.”
