Bergman Real Estate Group has completed nearly 28,000 square feet of leasing activity at an office building near Princeton, the site of a $4 million renovation that’s nearly complete.
According to the firm, the transactions at 500 College Road East in Plainsboro involve six tenants with deals ranging from 1,500 to 13,700 square feet. They include a mix of pharmaceutical, financial and computer technology businesses, with the largest commitment coming from the publicly traded, women-centric health care company Agile Therapeutics.
JLL’s Vinny DiMeglio and Erin Moran represented ownership as the building’s leasing agents. Bergman announced the deals Thursday, just over a year after it purchased the four-story, 160,000-square-foot building in a joint venture that also included Hornig Capital Partners.

Located within the master-planned, 2,200-acre Princeton Forrestal Center campus, 500 College Road East sits just off Route 1 and minutes from downtown Princeton. Bergman is capitalizing on that location with enhancements such as a redesigned atrium lobby, updated common areas and a full-service café with new equipment and furniture and an upgraded fitness center with locker rooms and showers.
The Ware Malcomb-designed plan also calls for a new entrance courtyard with landscaping and café table seating, while Bergman is planning additional improvements such as LED lighting, upgrades to mechanical systems and a planned rooftop solar panel system. Other additions will include new amenities such as a multimedia conference and training center, a lounge and game room with pool and shuffleboard tables and a bike share program for tenants.
