A global life sciences company has taken nearly 10,000 square feet at a Bridgewater office building, in a newly announced deal by Avison Young.
According to the brokerage team, the location at 685 Route 202/206 will serve as Biocon Biologics’ first North American headquarters. The fully integrated global biosimilars company took occupancy this month at the three-story, 139,000-square-foot building under a lease with Kushner Real Estate Group, benefiting from the site’s access to a host of area highways.
Avison Young Principal Drew Persson represented the tenant in the 9,624-square-foot deal. Justin Gingeleskie, William O’Keefe, and Charles Parmelli of Cushman & Wakefield represented ownership.
“Critical to our success was collaborating closely with KRE with their pedigree and experience to fast-track the execution and delivery of the space for Biocon Biologics,” Persson said. “Our goal was to quickly find a space that aligned with Biocon Biologics’ expectation of amenities, quality ownership, and preferred geography and begin operations right away.”
Josh Salsi, Biocon Biologics’ head of North America, added: “Biocon Biologics is growing, and we needed to establish a North American headquarters that would sustain our future plans. Through a collaboration with Avison Young and KRE, we were able to find the right property to meet our current and future needs.”
