An eight-unit apartment building in North Bergen has a new owner, Marcus & Millichap said Wednesday after brokering the sale of the newly built property.
The firm said it represented both the buyer and seller in the trade of Riverview Lofts, located at 8917 Old River Road. The fully occupied property sits across the street from Edgewater’ town hall.
David E. Thurston, first vice president of investments, and Charles Loccisano, associate, handled the assignment on behalf of Marcus & Millichap’s Saddle Brook office.
“The seller and buyer, alongside their attorneys, worked diligently to sort through the issues that they encountered throughout the due diligence process,” Thurston said in a prepared statement. “They ultimately reached a successful closing despite the challenges.”
Loccisano added that “a newly constructed building at full occupancy definitely contributed to closing the deal in a timely fashion.”
