Seagis Property Group has secured a new commitment at a Metuchen industrial building, where a trucking company is leasing nearly 63,000 square feet.
Bussel Realty Corp. President Steve Bussel represented the landlord in the deal at 60 Leonard St., having also brokered the firm’s recent acquisition of the 158,641-square-foot property. Stephen Izzi Trucking, which provides heavy haul and rigging solutions, is taking 62,802 square feet at the property near Interstate 287 and the New Jersey Turnpike.
Gregory Irving, an executive vice president with BRC, represented the tenant, having worked with the company in several other transactions in a relationship that spans nearly 25 years, according to a news release. The brokerage team noted that 60 Leonard has 21-foot ceiling heights, 20 tailboards, 7,000 square feet of office space and trailer parking.
