A cabinet wholesaler has signed a full-building lease for nearly 15,000 square feet of industrial space in Linden, according to brokers with Bussel Realty Corp.
The tenant, ABS Cabinets Direct, has nearly 10 locations and showrooms along the West Coast and is now expanding to New Jersey with its commitment at 507 West Elizabeth Ave., BRC said. Its new location is a 14,939-square-foot property near Route 1 & 9, the New Jersey Turnpike, Port Newark-Elizabeth and other destinations, offering 1,500 square feet of office space, 22- to 24-foot ceiling heights, three tailboards, a drive-in door and parking for two to three trailers.
BRC Senior Vice President Jordan Metz and Sales Associate Benito Abbate represented the landlord, 507 Elizabeth Avenue LLC, while Galaxy Fortune Realty represented the tenant.
“Functional warehouse space with high ceilings, loading docks and immediate highway access, have seen tremendous interest in this size range in the Linden submarket,” Abbate said. “With less than 1.5 percent vacancy rates and strong demand, 507 West Elizabeth Avenue commanded multiple offers and a quick lease-up process. We are pleased to see ABS Cabinets Direct expand its cabinetry business here.”
