A third-party logistics firm has taken more than 170,000 square feet at a newly built, 750,000-square-foot distribution center in Hillsborough, brokers with CBRE announced Wednesday.
The tenant, Barrett Distribution Centers, will occupy the space at 152 Route 206 under a lease with Industrial Realty Group. The deal provides the logistics and omni-channel distribution company with a location 15 minutes from Interstate 78 and about halfway between New York City and Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley.
The CBRE team of Ben Shapiro, Mindy Lissner, William Waxman, Steven Beyda, Kevin Dudley, Robert Pine and David Gheriani represented IRG, a Los Angeles-based developer and investor. Chris Hile of JLL represented Barrett Distribution Centers.
“Barrett is one of the largest family-owned logistics and distribution companies in the country with facilities from coast to coast and is a great addition to the newly developed Midpoint Logistics Center,” Shapiro said. “This strategically located building is ideal for major users looking for quality industrial space at the epicenter of two major consumer markets.”
IRG is developing the 165-acre property in two phases, CBRE said in a news release, touting the complex’s 36-foot-clear ceiling heights and exceptional loading capacity.
