CBRE Group has announced a new leader for its New Jersey project management team.

In a news release, the firm said it had promoted Eric Wagner to the position. He will focus on business development as he partners with CBRE’s leasing and sales professionals on new opportunities in an effort to lead the growth of its project management offerings in New Jersey.
“Eric’s talents, expertise and capabilities will enable him to support the team in delivering project management services in an extremely competitive environment,” said Frank Alvarado, senior managing director with CBRE. “His addition to the leadership team in New Jersey will enhance our market insight, strategic and consulting services and provide seamless collaboration among our service lines, giving CBRE universal expertise as a collective unit.”
The firm said Wagner also will be solidifying CBRE’s industrial project management service, which is currently working nationally for BASF, Dow and Ford, among others. Coordinating with leasing professionals in New Jersey to support occupiers, Wagner will also work closely with agency and asset management to support landlords.
He has more than 25 years of experience in the design and construction industry, including five years at SJP Properties as vice president of development, the news release said. He has worked on large interior fit-outs, building repositioning and retail projects, with client experience that includes projects for BMW, EY, Deutsche Bank and H&M.
