The developer of a 204-unit condominium building in Cliffside Park has hired a new director of marketing.
DMG Investments LLC on Monday announced the addition of Alexa Johnson, who will manage the day-to-day operations of the marketing efforts for the firm’s existing portfolio of luxury for-sale condominiums and student housing, plus new developments throughout the U.S. That includes One Park, DMG’s recently launched luxury condo tower in the Bergen County borough.
Among her responsibilities will be market positioning, product development, online outreach, promotional initiatives and sales strategy, the firm said in a news release. She will also oversee the execution of all related advertising, public relations and social media campaigns.
Prior to joining DMG, Johnson served as director of advertising and marketing for Keller Williams New York City. She was responsible for creating and implementing the brand strategy for the brokerage, overseeing online advertising, social media, public relations and agent marketing education, while also leading syndication efforts for KWNYC agents helping the non-MLS brokerage’s listings.
“Alexa has spent the past decade working with Manhattan-based brokerages where she created highly effective field marketing and business development strategies,” said Ben Watson, vice president of marketing for New York City-based DMG. “Her extensive background educating and advising thousands of real estate agents in New York City, the Hamptons and Florida, as well as her keen understanding of all aspects of marketing campaigns, will be a valuable asset for our company as we continue to market our existing portfolio of properties and expand into new geographic markets.”
DMG is the U.S. subsidiary of DoThink Holding Group, a well-known real estate developer in China. One Park is its first project in New Jersey and is slated for completion this year.
Johnson has also worked at CitiHabitats and The Corcoran Group, where she cultivated customer relationship management technology and sales techniques that leveraged email marketing and social media, the news release said. She implemented successful training programs in those areas for more than 3,000 agents in the New York City market.
