A former tenant at the Glenpointe campus in Teaneck has returned to the 50-acre complex, under a newly completed lease with owner and developer Alfred Sanzari Enterprises.
Leeward International, a clothing manufacturer, was a tenant at the mixed-use property for more than five years before moving out to consolidate its office and warehousing needs into a larger flex space, Sanzari said in a news release. As the company’s space needs once again shifted, it chose to move part of its operations back to Glenpointe due to its longstanding relationship with the commercial real estate firm.
Sanzari also pointed to Glenpointe’s location at the crossroads of interstates 80 and 95, which provides easy access to Leeward’s Manhattan location, and the recent improvements to the three-building office complex at 300, 400 and 500 Frank W. Burr Blvd.
“The longstanding relationships we have with all our tenants combined with the life cycle ownership of assets like Glenpointe have enabled us to create a tenant experience unlike any other,” said Jerry Barta, vice president and director of leasing and marketing for Alfred Sanzari Enterprises. “It’s very rare that a tenant chooses to return to a property after relocating but our unique approach to ownership ensures that we are a trusted partner in each stage of our tenants’ business journeys. Leeward International was confident that the flexibility and reliability of Glenpointe would once again serve as an ideal environment to help them meet their business goals and support them throughout their expansion.”
The firms did not disclose the size of the lease.
“As a former tenant of five plus years, we enjoyed our time very much at Glenpointe,” said Soo Kim, Leeward International’s controller. “There are many reasons we decided to return to the complex, including its proximity and easy access to New York City, the campus’ beautiful and clean atmosphere and the friendly and accommodating staff at Glenpointe. Having had such a positive experience working with Alfred Sanzari Enterprises previously, we were confident returning to Glenpointe would be the right move to support our current and future space needs.”
Sanzari recently completed a major upgrade at the complex with new furniture, WiFi and lighting fixtures throughout its common areas, creating a modern and welcoming experience for tenants and guests. Glenpointe also has a new outdoor amenity space, dubbed The Green, with new stonework, seating areas and greenery surrounding its distinctive fountain.
Meantime, the property includes the 26,000-square-foot Glenpointe Spa and Fitness Center, a cafeteria, a restaurant, a wine bar and lounge, along with the attached Marriott at Glenpointe and a recently opened, dual-branded Hampton Inn & Suites and Homewood Suites.
