Four new tenants are coming to an East Hanover office building after leasing a combined 36,000 square feet at the property, in a series of newly announced deals by Colliers.
In a news release, the brokerage team said it represented Northeast Capital Group in the transactions at 120 Eagle Rock Ave., a 177,820-square-foot building off Interstate 280. The building is nearly 90 percent occupied with the new commitments from Pillar Care Continuum, Kingdom Financial, Paris Ackerman LLP and Eastgate Group.
“We were pleased to work with Northeast Capital Group to capture the momentum and enthusiasm that has been rising for a return to the office,” Colliers Executive Managing Director Samuel Horowitz said. “The New Jersey office has been well on its way to recovery over the past year and we expect the market will resume a positive momentum in the coming months.”
Cushman & Wakefield’s Curtis Foster and Jerry Shifrin represented Pillar Care Continuum, a nonprofit that provides lifelong support for people with disabilities, while C&W’s David DeMatteis and Mena Shehata represented Kingdom Financial. Eastgate Group was represented in-house, while Barbara Gross of Sheldon Gross Realty represented Paris Ackerman.
Colliers noted that each new lease is for five to 10 years. The tenants will now have access to amenities such as a full-service café with outdoor seating, multiple conference rooms and a fitness center with weight and cardio machines and locker rooms, along with co-working amenities through its Workplace @ 120 Eagle Rock program.
“The activity that we have seen at 120 Eagle Rock speaks to the quality of the building, the attentiveness of property management and the efforts of our brokers,” said Joel Kiss, CEO Northeast Capital Group. “We are pleased to welcome our new tenants as several companies in New Jersey begin to return to the office in earnest.”
