A retail owner has tapped Cushman & Wakefield as its agent for two properties in Bergen County, including a complex on Route 4 and another in downtown Englewood.
The first property, located at 154 Route 4 East, is a 15,100-square-foot complex in Paramus that sits adjacent to the Garden State Plaza mall, the real estate services firm said. David Townes, a retail leasing specialist based in C&W’s East Rutherford office, will seek tenants for the freestanding building on behalf of Glenmore Management.
“Paramus is known for its enviable demographics, with nearly 620,000 people within a five-mile radius,” Townes said. “It is home to the highest retail sales per square foot in New Jersey, making it a magnet for tenants. This particular site is highly attractive, offering excellent visibility and accessibility.”
Townes is also representing Glenmore at Palisades Shoppes in Englewood, which has availabilities of 5,000 and 8,300 square feet at 55 West Palisades Ave. He said the spaces can be combined into one unit, both featuring storefronts along downtown Englewood’s primary vehicular and pedestrian thoroughfare.
Neighbors include ShopRite, Chick Fil A, Chipotle, McDonalds and others.
“Englewood is a vibrant downtown nestled in the heart of Bergen County,” Townes said. “This charming and inclusive community is known for its quality retail and prime proximity to New York City, which is just minutes away. Palisades Shoppes is arguably the best piece of available retail in town.”
The two appointments mark Townes’ first assignments for Glenmore Management, a boutique retail owner/operator based in Secaucus, which has a 450,000-square-foot, regionally concentrated portfolio.
