A dental practice has leased nearly 1,300 square feet at a busy shopping center in Jersey City’s Heights neighborhood, in a deal arranged by Lee & Associates New Jersey.
According to the brokerage team, the commitment by Dental Associates will backfill what was the longtime home of another practice at Heights Plaza, a grocery-anchored property at 741 Secaucus Road. The provider is leasing 1,260 square feet under the deal with The Alta Group.
“Dental Associates is a perfect fit for Heights Plaza, a location that has long been home to a successful practice serving a densely populated community,” Lee & Associates’ Josh Krantz said. “In addition to the appeal of the turnkey fit-out, this new tenant was drawn by the property’s most notable distinguishing feature — it is the only retail center with a parking lot in the Heights neighborhood — as well as the strong in-place co-tenants and an attentive owner/operator.”
Krantz, a senior vice president with the real estate services firm, represented both parties, noting that Dental Associates and its affiliates have more than 20 locations throughout New York City, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The landlord is a longtime client, he said, adding that the deal was completed in just five days.
Heights Plaza is now fully leased, with additional tenants including Value Fresh Market, Walgreens, AutoZone and McDonald’s.
