Last year was something of a coming out party for Bell Works, the ongoing mixed-use, 2 million-square-foot redevelopment effort at the former Bell Labs complex in Holmdel.
A new video by Somerset Development has captured all that took place in 2016.
The 72-second recap, posted on the Bell Works website, shuffles through everything from fashion shows and other events to press clippings about the high-profile leases that were signed during the year. It’s all part of the effort to repopulate what was the country’s largest vacant office building, with a mix of tech firms as its anchor tenants and an effort to reuse the space in creative new ways.
