DIGroup Architecture LLC has expanded its footprint and its offerings with the acquisition of Graf & Lewent Architects LLP, an established practice based in Queens.
According to DIG, which is based in New Brunswick, Graf & Lewent is known for its specialization in airport and university projects. The team of 10 experienced professionals, including principals Howard Graf and Steve Lewent, now join DIG to give the firm a physical presence in New York City and added expertise in the higher education and transportation sectors.
Terms were not disclosed.

DIG, which holds certifications as a minority, small and disadvantaged enterprise, offers architecture, interior design, graphics, signage and wayfinding services. It’s now a firm of 52 professionals across its New Jersey, Philadelphia and Queens offices, making it well-positioned to serve clients in the education, health care, senior living, civic, higher education and transportation sectors.
