Duke Realty Corp. has announced a promotion within its New Jersey leasing team.
The real estate investment trust said Monday that it has elevated Caitlin English, who is based in its Jersey City office, to senior leasing representative. In the role, she negotiates and secures lease commitments from new and existing tenants in the company’s Garden State industrial portfolio, while also networking with the brokerage community to generate new business opportunities in its growing Northeast region.
“Duke Realty continues to invest heavily in the growth of our Northeast region, especially in opportunities and facilities along the New Jersey Turnpike corridor,” said Art Makris, senior vice president of Duke Realty’s Northeast region. “Cait has been instrumental in securing and negotiating various lease agreements and I have no doubt that her expertise will help us expand our best-in-class portfolio.”
English joined Duke Realty in 2016 as a leasing representative in the company’s Pennsylvania office. She moved to the New Jersey office in 2020 and has served as the REIT’s leasing representative in several key transactions with high-profile tenants.
She earned her bachelor’s in international business from Saint Joseph’s University and is a member of the school’s Real Estate and Construction Alumni Advisory Board. She previously served on the board of directors for Commercial Real Estate Women’s Lehigh Valley chapter.
