Levin Management Corp. has expanded its retail property portfolio with the addition of a fully leased, 189,000-square-foot shopping center in Edison.
In a news release, the firm said it has taken over management at Oak Tree Center along Oak Tree Road, a property that is home to more than 30 tenants. Users include a 25,000-square-foot India Grocers store, the largest Indian grocery in New Jersey, along with an 8K Cinemas, Mirage banquet center, Chili’s restaurant and other operators.
Robert Carson, LMC’s executive vice president, said the North Plainfield-based firm will focus on maximizing efficiencies at the property while maintaining its curb appeal. Oak Tree Center is among the latest in several new management assignments for the firm this summer.
“This new assignment is particularly gratifying because it represents an expanded client relationship,” Carson said, noting that LMC manages another New Jersey shopping center on behalf of the same owner. “We pride ourselves on managing properties to a high standard and institutional level, and this assignment demonstrates how Levin continues to expand its business by taking care of clients and their real estate assets.”
