Industrial broker William Ericksen of NAI James E. Hanson has earned the coveted SIOR designation, becoming the latest member of the firm to join the global professional network.
The company, which is based in Teterboro, said Ericksen is the youngest person in its history to reach the milestone with the group formally known as the Society of Office and Industrial Realtors. He’s also the youngest designee in the New Jersey SIOR chapter and in the Northeast region that includes 13 states and Washington D.C., NAI Hanson said, noting that the network spans more than 50 countries and includes the globe’s top commercial real estate producers.
To achieve the SIOR designation, the firm said Ericksen consistently maintained a high volume of closed deals while focusing on professional ability, competency, ethical conduct and personal integrity and completing stringent educational requirements.
“The SIOR designation signifies a broker’s steadfast commitment to leadership, professionalism and exceptional performance, which are all qualities that define Will,” said NAI James E. Hanson President William C. Hanson, a longtime SIOR designee. “Ever since he joined our firm in 2019, Will has emerged as one of the commercial real estate industry’s fastest rising stars and his SIOR designation further demonstrates his unique expertise and capabilities. I look forward to seeing Will continue to excel and congratulate him on this remarkable achievement.”
In his role as a managing director with NAI Hanson’s Institutional Services Group, Ericksen works alongside Scott K. Perkins, Christopher Todd, Jordan Avanzato and Kristen Costanza and provides clients with tailored investment, leasing and advisory services to help them achieve their respective goals, according to a news release. The firm also cited the team’s expertise in the industrial outdoor storage subsector.
Other SIOR designees with NAI Hanson include Barry J. Cohorsky, Jeffrey W. DeMagistris, Peter O. Hanson, W. Joshua Levering, Kenneth D. Lundberg, Perkins, Andrew Somple, Todd, Russell Verducci, Thomas A. Vetter, Randy Horning and Michael G. Walters.
