Flooring and tile retailer Floor & Decor has leased 62,500 square feet in Paramus, filling a building left vacant by the recent bankruptcy by the Sports Authority chain.
The Goldstein Group, which brokered the deal on behalf of the landlord, announced Tuesday that the store will be Floor & Decor’s third New Jersey location. The space is located at Route 17 and the entrance to the Paramus Park Mall
“This was the largest retail space leased in Paramus and Bergen County this year,” Chuck Lanyard, president of the Goldstein Group, said in a prepared statement. “I am pleased to bring this great national tenant to Paramus.”
The lease for Atlanta-based Floor & Decor, which was founded in 2000, comes amid the news this week that the chain will occupy a soon-to-be developed building in Woodbridge. The chain currently has more than 70 locations nationwide.
