A longtime homebuilder in New Jersey has entered the multifamily sector with two projects in Edison and plans for another in the Somerset County township of Green Brook.
The firm, Fox and Foxx Development, said it was nearing completion of a 12-unit luxury property known as Fox and Foxx Meadows at 463 Old Post Road in Edison. The project follows its recent lease-up of an eight-unit building in the township, known as Fox and Foxx Metro, at 292 Central Ave. and a short walk from NJ Transit’s Edison station.
” Fox and Foxx Development has always been committed to excellence in both single-family and multifamily development,” said Steven Fox, co-owner of Fox and Foxx Development, which is based in Edison. “Our recent successes in leasing out Fox and Foxx Metro and the upcoming completion of Fox and Foxx Meadows reflect our ability to adapt to evolving market demands. We are proud to expand our multifamily presence while continuing to develop exceptional single-family homes. The future of real estate in New Jersey looks bright, and we are excited to play a significant role in shaping it.”
The firm, led by Fox and Robert Foxx, has spent more than 25 years rehabbing and developing single-family homes in and around Middlesex County, according to a news release. Its expansion to multifamily construction is now focused on Green Brook, where it secured approvals this past spring for 85 apartments with 9,865 square feet of retail space.
The project site reportedly is located at 74-78 Greenbrook Road, off Washington Avenue.
